Municipal Historical Archive

The Municipal Archive holds, studies and enhances the value of documents of the municipal administration from the modern age to the present day. On the ground floor there is a photographic exhibition with images of the course of history in our village (trades, traditions, festivals, places or corners among others…), the result of private donations. On the first floor there are five rooms containing the documents, which are divided into five themes: the historical archive, secretariat, intervention, town planning and miscellaneous.

We also have a consultation room for users who wish to research our past. The most outstanding feature is its exhibition hall which houses the permanent exhibition “Written Memory”, an exhibition of files, correspondence, books, projects, decrees and royal orders, among others, which recount the most important events in the history of the municipality.
