Centaurea Dealbata
Its common name is Centaurea and is native to the Caucasus region and northern Iran. It is an erect and perennial plant of a maximum of one meter in height. Its flowers are born in summer and are whitish on the lower face, the radicals quite large and divided into lanceolate lacinias, acute, sometimes whole, others coarsely toothed and the heads pink with a whitish disc or a paler rose. Its uses are varied, they are used for borders, terraces, slopes and slopes, to adorn rocky gardens. Centaurea Dealbata is widely cultivated as an ornamental plant, although it is not as well known as some other members of the genus. It is very adaptable and drought tolerant. Flowers attract butterflies and bees.
